Dylan in the madhouse


Interesting documentary on the lost BBC film, Madhouse on Castle Street, that starred - among others - a twenty-one year old Bob Dylan in his first film. It also was the first known public performance of his classic "Blowin' in the Wind." But the film was lost in 1968 - either by a collector or was destroyed by the BBC. The documentary is about trying to find a surviving copy of the film. What is also interesting is the cultural commentary on Britain in late December 1962.
